Annette Ridenour has created nationally recognized and award-winning healing environments, arts programs, wayfinding programs, interior designs and interpretive display systems for some of the largest and best-known organizations in the United States and Canada. In almost thirty years as a leader in healthcare design, she has collaborated with more than 400 companies, over 200 medical facilities, and numerous major artists and architects from around the world. She founded her design firm, Aesthetics, Inc., in 1980 and specializes in bringing a holistic approach to design of the built environment. She is an author and sought after lecturer at design conferences worldwide.

Marwen's mission is to educate and inspire Chicago's under-served young people through the visual arts. Each year, Marwen provides rigorous studio-art, college readiness, and career exploration programs completely free-of-charge to more than 2,400 students in grades
6 - 12. Whether they study painting, drawing, or digital media, Marwen students learn to apply art-making, problem-solving, communication, and creative thinking skills to academic and professional endeavors. 90% of the students who participate in Marwen's acclaimed college planning program go on to college with scholarships.
